Album Review: Fitz & the Tantrums

Tomorrow, Fitz & the Tantrums will release their third and self-titled album and I'm excited for fans to finally hear it. The album is the ideal anthem for the upcoming summer regardless of what your plans include: Roll Up is perfect for bad decisions and romance on the beach; Run It is what your body can't help but move to when you're at your favorite club; Tricky is what you feel when you're driving around in the dark going on late night adventures; and A Place For Us is looking back on the good days spent with good people and thinking about your place in the universe.

Some of the sounds found on this album are comparable to those of Daft Punk (Fadeback) and Walk the Moon (Walking Target) - making it an interesting blend of sounds that come together so fluidly into a young and romantic album.

Michael, Noelle, Joe, and John poured positive vibes into this latest album and have produced something worth celebrating. In the meantime, you can either rest easy knowing that there's something great in your near future, or fans can take the other route and spend the next 24 hours in painful anticipation of what is to come.
