The All-American Rejects, The Maine, and Dashboard Confessional Announce Summer Co-Headlining Tour

As of this morning, The All-American Rejects, Dashboard Confessional, and the Maine have announced a summer co-headlining tour from 7/25-8/13. Talk about a TBT tour!

The All-American Rejects is an Oklahoma-born emo-pop band consisting of Tyson Ritter, Chris Gaylor, Nick Wheeler, and Mike Kinnerty formed back in 1997. The band has put out several albums including their self-titled debut, Move Along, When the World Comes Down, and Kids In the Street being their latest. Although Kids In The Street is their latest album, it is far from new, having been released in 2012. There has been much speculation on their cryptic postings on social media lately and while this answers some of it, it's hard not to wonder if there's a new album on the horizon. AAR has put out quite a few earworm tracks, but none are more well-know than "It Ends Tonight," "Move Along," "Dirty Little Secret," and "Gives You Hell."

Dashboard Confessional has also been radio-silent for some time with their last release, Alter the Ending, being released in 2009. However, they have not left fans hanging, they released two EPs since Alter the Ending including Swiss Army Bro-mance (2010) and Covered and Taped (2017). The band consists of Chris Carrabba, Scott Schoenbeck, AJ Cheek, and Ben Homola. Dashboard Confessional is best known by their tracks "Stolen," "Screaming Infidelities," and "Vindicated."

Last, but definitely not least, The Maine is also joining the line-up solidifying this tour as a must-see for myself. The Maine is a much younger band compared to it's headlining companions, but no less notable in the music world, having made itself a prominent fixture in the current alt/pop music world. Formed in 2007 by John O'Callahan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch, they've been putting out albums with unbelievable frequency, their last being released just last month: Lovely Little Lonely. Their most notable song "Bad Behavior" is the upbeat and light kind of music that'll sound best on a warm, summer night that their tour promises.

Tickets for the tour will go on-sale this Friday, 10 am.
